This pains me to even consider selling this. I love this car immensely, in my opinion it is the perfect option of practicality and style. This car is incredibly original. Probably one of the cleanest most original FJ60's I have ever come across. It is originally a California car. Guy I bought it from moved it to Texas and now she makes her home in Kansas. Completely rust free (hard to come by in these) solid frame. original factory silver (although I believe it has been professionally repainted) she has a leaf spring lift, so it sits a little higher than normal, which I love. Has 31" BFG all terrains on it. Can clear 33's though. That was my next move. Brand new radiator and AC compressor. When I first bought it (about 6 months ago) I was living in Arizona. Took it to "Toyowest Automotive" I had them go over it with a fine toothed comb. Roger does a great job there and is extremely knowledgable. We put a new fan in the blower motor, fixed the motor mounts, new exhaust, carb tune up. She purrs. Drove it back to Kansas with no problems. The motor is original, was completely went through about 80,000 miles ago. A lot of life left! I have all the paperwork and service records. I have put about $7,000 into it since I have had it. Runs and drives great. 4 wheel drive works perfect and the hubs lock in. AC blows very cold! All original seats with very little signs of wear. Completely intact headliner too. Now, this vehicle is thirty years old. there is a few paint chips, few carpet stains and some wear and tear. For being thirty years old this car is immaculate though. Again, this pains me to sell. Truly do not want to. I have it priced for what I believe it is worth. I am willing to take serious offers, but nothing insulting! Thanks for the interest! I am willing to take more pictures, videos, or answer any questions you may need.

Asking $27,000

There's an almost identical truck to yours that just sold for $9k. You've got a clean truck, but you're pretty far off at $27k in my opinion.

$9,000?? Not even close to what I bought it for. Maybe I'm way off. I obviously would take less than 27. Just threw a number out there. I just want what I've put into it. Maybe that's not possible. I have been offered much more than 9 though. Thanks for the reply though!

Totally. Just figured I'd give some outside perspective since I'm not actually looking to buy. I just like checking the classifieds to see what mine is worth. Here's the link to the one that sold for $8950 on bring-a-trailer. It was listed on here as well for about $13k.

These trucks aren't really great investments. Especially once you start putting money into them. Good luck!

Yeah, I see what you mean on the similarities! He NEEDED to get rid of his though. With the work I and the previous owner have had done to the motor it's pretty fresh. Just figured someone wanted a real original one. Thanks again!

I wonder if the "ridiculously priced 60" bubble is on the verge of bursting ?

If not I'm happy to keep it! Just thought someone out there would want it more than I. Thanks again.

Just wanted around what I've put into it.

You never get back what you put in

That's the one piece of wisdom that's held true. Everyone said "these things suck up money, you can't see it as an investment, you gotta do it because you love it.

Exactly what my Dad told me! I do love it! Just wish I would have gotten it later in life.
