I think you were really busy and just forgot to get ahold of me over the phone, it's ok though I'm not mad at all. My new house location is in an area I knew would be a real problem for semi's and I'm on a quickly closing in deadline. So I went with a small transporter that can easily make it to...
UPDATE: I was never able to have a phone discussion with Summit Auto Transport to clarify things, and I knew they couldn't get a semi full of cars to my new location (tight area) so I reached out to a small shipper I know of in the SoCal area. He has a 24ft 10K lb rated trailer with a winch, and...
I got the quote, been running around like crazy to pack etc... I'll call you asap to discuss the LC more and the area I'll be moving to so we can really be clear on things.
Thanks
Thanks, we're looking forward to the change for sure. Less people and no major heat to deal with.
I'll keep the thread informed when something happens.
Not sure where to post this query so here goes... I'm moving from Sacramento CA to Eureka CA very soon and need to get my FJ80 transported to Eureka because its currently not road ready. I'm curious if anyone knows of a good auto transporter company? I have looked into the Uhaul Car Trailer (not...
I've been storing my third row seats for too many years now, and it's time to move them out. They're grey and in very good condition overall. 1 or 2 small rips in the vinyl only, all brackets are included but no bolts.
These are free to anyone that needs them, just pick them up.
Wow, just read this whole thread and really enjoyed all the great photos and write up. I never document anything I tackle, wish I would have. Your rig is a great color also, looks great all cleaned up.
Keep up the great work
Just an FYI for anyone that's sensitive to air quality, the Calaveras Big Trees Park just told us the air in the area is pretty bad every day till around 3pm.
Some areas are bad till around noon, but in general not too good. Everyone has to judge for themselves just how bad, but with that being...
bmwjnky I just saw this, did you ever get your front leaking seal replaced and fixed? I've rebuilt my front axle completely and can assist you if needed.
I don't know everything, but just enough to really f*** things up:D
Seriously, if you need a hand yell at me. I'm not far from Rancho
Man that sucks, well I'll have to do my homework and make up a special batch of non spicy but flavorful chili for you "extra white" people:D. I'm including my wife in this group also...
Georg, PM or call me about this when you have time(anybody want to volunteer for the "raffle chairman" job? setting this event up solo has turned into a little bit of work)
Good pics everyone and sandrat62, we (Megan & I) really enjoyed hanging out with you guys. I learned way too much about your past:eek: BTW, I'm researching some HAM radio info to send your way, mainly the easy study course to get your licence.
Since this trip and time of year coincides with...
A few more pics, including one with the 5-6 cows that almost refused to move off the trail. They live in the area and run the trail back and forth.
Lots of cow pies to step in while hiking, or have your dog rub her face in them to show you the great scent she found:D
I counted around 5-10 45s, they didn't all camp in the same area and we didn't get the round up shot of them like last year. There was a black one that I forgot to get a photo of camped in the first area.
There was only so much room at the last campsite and others were camping at the other 2...
