Hmmmm....I just picked up a 60 that needs some body work. Maybe I could swap the WHOLE body. Never tried a motor change-out. I can feel the wife getting angry already.
Any other places in the area with 60s that haven't been picked apart?
:whoops:
'84 Troopy, RHD. Stock 2H w/4spd split case and the full-floater rear end. No pwr steering, disc brakes or anything fancy. Picked it up from a guy in Kalifornia who had started a cosmetic once-over and then found a BJ he wanted instead. This one is a 20-footer, but pretty solid...
Go down to the FJ45 Owners Club area and root around, at least a couple of folks have posted on changing out the rear seat configuration in different ways.
I currently have a heep rear seat bolted to floor with the front fold-downs removed. Works ok for the kids but sits low so they can't...
Part of the TG boondoggle?! I thought I had seen your rig on base....I'm over at strike. I'll let her warm up for about three days a bring her to work.
Wasn't me, never have driven mine to Reno. She only runs about 57mph on the road, so I don't go far unless I have to.

Almost in....

As usual I got sidetracked on another project this last weekend, but I'll see if this solution works for me too. Thanks for posting up your fix.
Looking into the same thing on my mine. Only seems to do it about 40% of the time though, not as consistent as yours. I'm pulling the cluster this weekend for the speedo. If I find anything interesting I'll post up.
Glow plug light doesn't stay on the whole time. I get 2-3 seconds of light, which seems to coincide witht the superglow time. The second relay doesn't click for about another 40-50 seconds depending on the temp outside. If you have a meter, check the bus bar to see if anything is getting...
Robert, sorry this has taken so long.
Pic from above....
and one from below and behind....
No red wire going off the alternator. I couldn't follow the white/blue 100%, but didn't see any splits or adds to it between the alternator and the battery. Either mine didn't get the fix or it...
