I just had Sean at OK Tires in St. Helena (Napa) put on 33x10.5 BFG AT's on circle stamp (windows) rock crawlers. It's worth the drive to give Sean your business. He's a cruiser head and is one of the nicest business owner I've ever shelled out my $$ to. Highly recomended.
Currently have .25"...
I betcha you want some of them burlap coffee sacks :grinpimp: Oh yeah, I'll bring plenty of those... We'll have the first annual "McGrew Three Legged Races". Screw the 4x4's , PMC peeps engage the transfer sack and 3x3!
I think I know what you mean Tony. I'll catch up with you at...
I've been trying to make this run for 3 years too. Looks like I can make it this year.
Any pre-registering available...or am I gonna have to wait for the 'Trails issue with the form? Count me in! ...okay...patience...I'll be waiting by my mailbox for the form. Heck, I might even be able to make...
If my wife saw this thread she'd accuse me of viewing porn...again:D "well hell honey, at least I'm reading stories instead of looking at the pictures"
Bay Area: So I pump three times, choke 1/2 out and give her a whirl. Sometimes
she fire's right up, other times idles and dies -...
Hey Ting, I grew up in the "Salad Bowl of the World" I'll be down friday night. I have a rootbeer brown, or as I call it, bubbly bourbon fj60 with a hannaible roof rack and an ARB bump up front. Look me up, we'll talk about row farming and big sur, I'm sure!
NorCal is correct, watch the...
All,
What I will likely be suggesting are total solutions for all areas of TLCA merchandising. It seems that merch is the biggest weight that can and should be lifted from the shoulders of TLCA Management. This is the easy part. I will be proposing a fulfillment house that not only will design...
Merch Help
I am the merchandise manager for a well known entertainer. I have a few suggestions for solutions that TLCA might be interested in.
Please contact me if you'd like more info and/or help. I might not have the time to take this on until early October, however I see the need and I'm...
Yeah, faster is better up to a point. Push the speed until you feel yourself getting loosey goosey and then back off. That's the best speed for extreme washboard, as fast as you can go while in control. Be mindful of large rocks in roadway, ruts, and wash out drop offs and livestock in certain...
If it's a bad egr, you can cut a small hole in the vacuum tubing coming off the egr valve. Take the tubing off, cut a small 'v' in it, put it back on with the 'v' hole facing the engine block (turned out of sight). Worked for me in order to pass.
I guess a good question would be: When do you smell the gas inside? During or shortly after filling the tank at the gas station? Intermitently? All of the time?
My '87 is in need of replacing the gaskets around the filler neck, so when topping off, if I overfill and splash gas over the neck it...
I'm thinking it was sold via the Craigslist ad. I live in the Bay Area and viewed it on the Craigslist and first I said "whoa, a bit pricey", then I opened up the link and I finally saw a 60 worth it's listing price.
I often search for Cruisers on Craigslist....not that I'm buying or selling...
I leave my Hannibal on becuase I really don't have a safe place to store it. Besides, it's handy when you need to unexpectedly carry oversized loads. Truth be told, however, I'd much rather take it off and use it only when needed. After 4 months of having it on, I guess I'm just used to it...
I can't speak for the ARB, but as mentioned previously, seems that everything they make is solid. One difference is tha the ARB has raised railings all around where the Hannibal only has raised railings on the sides and back.
I purchased a Hannibal off this board used (thanks David) and I can...

Don't be intimidated because the plug kits are very easy to use. Just follow the instructions and you should be on your way rather quickly unless you incurr a large puncture or a nasty sidewall puncture. If the puncture is large, you can try two or three plugs in the "wound". I recently used my...
Holy Crap! You guys are alive. I though PMC was hibernating for the winter. I'm gonna try and make it, but only because I like pizza and need to pay my dues ....and since I'm always traveling due to work, thus missing out on winning winches, swapmeets and all the trail runs, I'm gonna have to...
