What's up guys. I had to buy a 1995 Nissan 240sx SE in order to be able to work on my FJ60.
There are a couple of things that I have to replace like the muffler, steering wheel, etc, and I'd like to know if there is a place or a website like www.cruiserparts.net for nissan or nissan 240's...
Thanks guys will look at it.
Overhanger, I scared to call the dealership, everytime I need anything is like 10 times the cost than cruiserparts.net. They've been awesome with me and have never has an issue.
My rear liftgate glass broke, I ordered a replacement from cruiserparts.net, and it's on the way. I'd like to know if this is something that I can replace on my own, or do I have to take it to either a body shop or have someone with experience do it.
Do I have to buy a new rubber or the old...
D'animal, good comment and it makes complete sense. I called MAF and explained the issue I was having, if you see the first pic I posted the linkage on my Weber is completly different than the Weber 38's that MAF or ony other shop sells for the 60's. That previous owner did this job all wrong...
Lehi, Will do. Im sick and tired of dealing with this. It'll go back to the stock linkage. That's the problem with modifing vehicle, once you change something, everything else has to change.
Thank you all for your help
Cruiserdrew. I am try to get this right and at the same time saving some $$$$$. Tuff times my friend. But that has crossed my mind.
Joe. Thanks again. When I purchased the truck the cast on ball was and still is going to the Weber carb. I'll show pics but the weber that on my FJ has a...
Thanks a lot Joe, U've been helpful. I guess after all the researching I've done I come to the conclusion that on the US version on the FJ60 there is not such thing as a throttle cable, it's all through linkages.
Can a 38 Weber carb be conected to the original US FJ60 Throttle body linkage...
Hi guys, I've asked this question before and got some answers but I need more info and pics if anyone has them. I'll explain why.
I bought a 85 FJ60. This came with a weber carb. 3 months after I bought it the accel cable snaped. The truck had a wire going from the carb all the way to the...
"Why not just clean the gears with gear oil, which is the natural medium for gears to run in? That's the whole purpose of a quick change out. ATF does not have the high pressure additives that keep hypoid gears (like the ring and pinion) happy."
ATF is thinner, and cheaper. I dit it with mine...
Just some water. I believe you don't know for how long that has been there. What you can do is to put some transmission fluid inside the diff and drive the truck for a little bit and then remove the fluid, that way it cleans all the gears, you can repeat this proces a couple of times and then...
thanks Viper. Will contact him.
Randy: about the add a leaf. I am doing that to the front, 'cause I want the Fj60 to look leveled.
Viper, any idea on the price???
Thank you all
Thanks nemesis. The issue is that I am runnin a Weber and the filter looks like a performance filter. My FJ60 does not have the stock air cleaner housing.
Randy. I want to gain about a half or a full inch to avoid tires rubbing against the fender, and for looks as well. I have an OME on my...
