Short answer: no

Long answer: Must be just enough gravity since we've been running it like this for 2 years without issue. With rear steer there is a lot of fluid moving too. In most cases it's best to have a bit more however if u look at the reservoir from the front in the pic below u'll see I was trying to keep it as close as possible to the engine cage. Even though it sets above a little bit it's still under the shock hoops not seen in the pic. Always trade-offs!
