We've owned this for several years now. Bought it from a buddy who built it for his wife...long story short he rolled it on the first trip and she lost interest quickly..... It was originally built by another buddy Billy from Ringold GA who did a great job on the tubing and suspension setup. Since we got it we've been improving it. With another round of fall/winter upgrades we should be ready for the 2015 WEROCK season where the wife will drive and I will spot. Bellow is a quick write up of the upgrades since we got it until now.
Specs:
- 2100 lbs
- 1.5" DOM Chassis
- Toyota FourRunner/Truck front and rear steering axles.
- 5.29 gears
- Welded and plated aka "spool" diffs
- Longfields
- 37" BFG Krawlers red/stickies
- Full Hydro w/joystick in between seats for rear steer.
- TG Diff protection
- Suzuki Sidekick 1.6L 8v & transmission
- Propane setup w/ single tank
- Suzuki TCase w/6.5:1 gears
- Total crawl ratio 134:1
- Corbeau Baja seats
- Warn 4500S front recovery/pull down winch
- TG 3000 lb rear pull down winch
- 14" Fox air shocks in front (I will not divulge valving and nitrogen charge sorry)
- 16" Fox air shocks in rear (I will not divulge valving and nitrogen charge sorry)
When we first got it. It had 42" Irok's w/coil springs and cheap shocks in rear:
