We've owned this for several years now. Bought it from a buddy who built it for his wife...long story short he rolled it on the first trip and she lost interest quickly..... It was originally built by another buddy Billy from Ringold GA who did a great job on the tubing and suspension setup. Since we got it we've been improving it. With another round of fall/winter upgrades we should be ready for the 2015 WEROCK season where the wife will drive and I will spot. Bellow is a quick write up of the upgrades since we got it until now.

Specs:

- 2100 lbs
- 1.5" DOM Chassis
- Toyota FourRunner/Truck front and rear steering axles.
- 5.29 gears
- Welded and plated aka "spool" diffs
- Longfields
- 37" BFG Krawlers red/stickies
- Full Hydro w/joystick in between seats for rear steer.
- TG Diff protection
- Suzuki Sidekick 1.6L 8v & transmission
- Propane setup w/ single tank
- Suzuki TCase w/6.5:1 gears
- Total crawl ratio 134:1
- Corbeau Baja seats
- Warn 4500S front recovery/pull down winch
- TG 3000 lb rear pull down winch
- 14" Fox air shocks in front (I will not divulge valving and nitrogen charge sorry)
- 16" Fox air shocks in rear (I will not divulge valving and nitrogen charge sorry)

When we first got it. It had 42" Irok's w/coil springs and cheap shocks in rear:

The wife named it Betty Boop. Here she is in it's current iteration:

She walked the last ledge on Hell's Revenge @ Choccolocco Mountain last time there.

Now to the build posts......

Round 1:

- Testing the paint scheme she wanted on engine cage. Flat black underneath.
- Installed a 4 in 1 Summit gauge with rpm/shift light, volts, water temp, oil pressure and top gauge is for oil temp.
- Dug into the top and bottom of the motor, re-torqued everything, valve job, full tune up, gaskets, belts and hoses, timing belt, fluids etc etc........suffice it to say she purrs like a kitten now.
- MSD red wires though.

Round 3:

- PSC steering setup
- Changed the tie-rod from under to over.
- Redid the axle side ram mount to decrease the binding and rubbing on the chunk.
- Ran the ram hydraulic lines down the UCA.
- Moved the PS reservoir up 2 inches. Sits higher than radiator so will have to mod engine cage later to protect it and the distributor which already sticks up.
- Modified the SpiderTrax crankshaft pulley (4 bolts for Samurai, 5 bolts for sidekick).
- Installed the ribbed belt to the PS pump.
- Next up plumbing, filling, bleeding and testing.

And yet my welds are bubble gum but good tasty bubba-licious ya'll!

Round 5:

- Entire rebuild of rear axle.
- Longfield's in rear

Redid the Lincoln locker to be a true "spool" plated on both sides and welded like mad! Those almost look like non bubba-licious welds! LOL!

Rear done about the same as front so I won't bore you with more similar pics. ;)

Round 8:

- Some more of the detail work....tedious and slow work..........
- 18-20 of these rock lights going on.
- Rear winch solenoid box
- 3/4" UHMV skid plate. Yes the piece of UHMV was used and it's blue....but it was a.....FREEBIE!
- New padding
- Corbra CB 18stwx (something like that)
- Plan out center switch box, front winch solenoid and fuse box holder that will go between the seats.
