Do we have a thread for hack/ghetto/booty fab spy pics? We had a car show at the local mall that had some off-road representation....this super clean Saginaw swap was on an FJ40. There was plenty of other clean fab work on the other rigs

two piece pitman arm, funky angled "mount" that consisted of booger welded sleeves

Early 70's Ford 1ton, check the enormous front shackles out. they musta weighed 20 lbs!!!

looks like this drag link started out as a tie rod cut in half, threaded on the cut ends, 3/8'' x 1 1/2'' x 6'' plate, then bolted together and welded with gussets, then here is the best part.....had it chromed! must of been proud of this one, it's on a sprung over 40 on 35's and you can only imagine how bad the bump steer is....it's all over the place. Not to mention the truck has 10 shocks total! 4 rear, 6 front! More is better right?

Oh man... I miss that scary steering site. There are still TONS of awesome pictures if you google "scary steering".

I can't even figure out what exactly is holding that steering box on...

LOL!!!! My buddy and I were working on my 60 this weekend repairing rust and found something similar to above where the PO decided that he just didn't want to deal with all the rust in the rear quarter so he tacked in a piece of metal and then pie cut the end to make the wheel well!!! My buddy was telling me about TheFabPolice instagram.... oh holy hell!!
