Does every 40 have a hood that obese cloggers used for a stage or just mine? I got it shrunk down where it was oil-canning, but was just lumpy when it came down to it.

I installed the Sylvania headlights tonight. They are so much better than the old ones. These produce a nice bright, white beam. Great improvement! Also, took a short video of the engine sound at high rev and at idle. She doesn’t skip a beat.!!

When I went to use the hood hinges I discovered they were pretty clapped out. To fix it, I cut a piece of NiCor 5/16" brake line to length and split it to make a bushing. It worked pretty well and was quick and cheap.
