What does that solenoid do anyway? Do I need it, seems like your earlier comment is to forget about it?

My carburetor number 60191, manufactured from 3/69 to 9/69 has a solenoid on it with one wire cut.
After the engine is warm it's a little cranky to start.
Seems like it's rich and I have to open the throttle plate gently a little to start.

Well it was a challenge. Cover sill had spot weld holes on the top and rear. I spot welded these to the inner sill frame.
The issue was the floor required cutting out rust from the back two inches forward.
You can see where i over head welded the floor the the inner sill frame.

Had four rust areas on both sides on the door sill. Rust areas were between the door sill gusset and the outer sheet metal.
Cut out the rust, neutralized the rusted gussets, welded in new sheet metal, primer and filled.
Getting ready for the paint & body shop.
