SOLD Denver: 1979 Toyota Corona (project)

Here’s a straight and clean RT134 Corona. 2200lbs wet, rear wheel drive. Takes Corolla suspension. Very rust free and very straight, 100% complete though the valve cover, EGR, exhaust manifold, and carb have been removed and put in a box. The original 20R motor appears to have had a blown head gasket, so I got a 22R block and Weber 32/36 for planned build that never happened. I also got a mini truck 5spd for a planned swap. Comes with a spare flywheel that came with the 5spd. My daily driver FJ60 is always needing money and I have an FJ40 on the way that also requires open access to my bank account … so the Corona must go. Front disk brakes, new springs and shocks, new glass and rubber, full set of door cards, electric wiper conversion, new interior handles, new gas tank and fuel lines. New brake lines and master cylinder, new wiring harness. Too many other parts to list everything. Needs rear passenger wheel cylinder, and passenger window was cracked on install. SOLD Clarkesville, Georgia (30523) : 1983 Chevrolet El Camino

$7000 firm. 99.9% rust free. It's a blast to drive and I get thumbs up everywhere I go. I'll have to check to see exactly where I am on engine mileage, but I just passed the initial break in 500 miles. Running conventional oil with high zinc additive and I was OCD with the break in. I bought it from a mechanic that was building this for his wife and decided to go a different route. He did the engine and when I got it he had less than 50 miles on it and was trying to save money to finish the exhaust. Mechanically 100%, zero leaks. Tons of new parts.
