Well I guess I should probably start a resto thread before I get all the way done. This is a 63 FJ45 Short Bed from Arizona that spent its last three years in Montana and Colorado before I started the project.
Mostly original with a re-arch and full length add-a-leaf2 1/2 inch lift. Added power steering, disc brake conversion, F155 and 3-speed on the floor. All nuts and bolts are factory, tanked and zinc plated with a few exceptions to some exterior bolts which were replace with new grade 8.8 bolts.
Factory color, re-upholstered seats with the proper seams and frame color. Original bug-catcher vents windows with new seals.
I had Bob with Metric Offroad do all of the body and paint and Mike of Metric Offroad help me with parts resourcing and mechanical. Thanks again Mike, for letting me use Bob for this project! Bob has got to be the best body and paint guy around for LCs cause he knows these body lines and placement better than anyone. If you guys get a chance you should stop by Metric Offroad and check out Mike's shop and all of his Toyotas. If you are not close enough to swing by, check out Mike's website: http://metricoffroad.com/
I will keep posting updates and more pics.
