it looks like it just came off the showroom.
Thank you

Its actually going in the get a partial wrap today, then I will leave for Vegas Sunday morning

Represent Don! Make us proud - we want pictures

Looks awesome Don!
Any details you can share on the ICON set up?
Have a good time at SEMA

Yes
It's called the Icon Stage 6
Front
Billet upper control arm
2.5 coilovers
2.5 piggyback front shocks with remote resi's and adjustable compression
S2 system for the piggyback which add another shock hoop and mounting location for the bottom of the shock on the existing lover control arm .

Rear
Billet upper and lower links
Adjustable track bar
2.5 shocks with remote resi's and adjustable compression
rear hydraulic bump stops
Both sway bars are gone and not needed. I really can adjust the roll right out of the system

I have been playing a bit with the compression settings. 1 being the softest
On the road without any thing loaded down, the 1 setting just makes it float over bumps. we have the rolling speed bumps, on my street that just get soaked up

I have an Odyssey battery up front that weighs about 85#. Winch bumper and 12,500 # winch along with a few lights :D. On the trial , I will bump up the compression dampening a lot , but on the road it's almost a Deville

Here is a view of the left front

Cortez visual. I have checked out some of their work . I think they will make a big impression

I'm going to do an entire write up on the process of getting this thing ready in a very short amount of time . I think my head is still spinning.

I will definitely represent. You guys are always supportive of my madness
thank you

P.S I just got a call from Cortez Visual. My 3/4 wrap is almost done . I will be picking it up today

Go get'm Don! I look forward to your write-ups, always.
Say Hi to Rose. Terry

How much travel does this kit get you?
As always, limiting factor for the front is the IFS . They are extended length , so you get an extra inch . The rear I will have to get back to you. The links are slightly offset springs are 2 inch and the shocks are also extended length I just don't have hard numbers for it right now. I have been really busy, since Icon jumped on board

Thanks Terry Rose says hi back at you two. We need to get together sometime

Wow Don Looks like some really quality stuff!

It really is quality . It performs amazing so far. Road manors are better than any FJ I have been in

I am really curious about your partial wrap. Would really like to see it up close. Will you be at the Nov meet?

I work at bluemedia and we do wraps all the time. Kinda wish I knew you were in the market.

Pics please

I didn't know you worked at Bluemedia, or I would have asked you .
I called Blue Media First
I asked for a sponsorship or at least a little help. They didn't even offer to write a proposal for purchase . I ended up paying for it anyway. I just felt they didn't want to bother with my piddly project. I have even done business with them in the past. They referred me to Cortez, so they got my business. I approached Cortez exactly the same way. They couldn't do a sponsorship, but offered to write a proposal for purchase.

what has been seen cannot be unseen - the bling is blinding

That sucks. Do you know what sales guy you talked to? Because we only have like 6 sales guys they might not have been willing to help. I would have been able to at least get you a good deal. What does it look like?

First off. I'm sorry for even bringing it up. You just caught me at really busy time
I will fill you in on details in person. I will be posting pictures after it gets staged in the booth. I went out yesterday evening and took a few poser shots. After looking over the pics, I am happy with the way it turned out. Thank you all for your support

First shots after a little makeover. This was Saturday evening before leaving for SEMA

That looks so nice, perfectly depicted as what most FJC owners would like their rig to become. Have a great time at SEMA.

The wrap turned out nice - not "in your face' like some wraps. Complimentary colors, cool boulders, partial cover to still see the truck and its paint.

BTW: Where's the "Baja girls"? :grinpimp:
