80 series speedometer and O/D light flashing (1 Viewer)

2 weeks ago my clock messed up on my truck and last week my speedometer broke! My question is why is my O/D light blinking

It just does.
Its your speed sensor ... Mine went out also awhile ago. OD light blinks to show there is a tranny ECU error, because nothing is registering for MPH.

Either replace or don't. I didnt ... only drawback other then not knowing how fast your going, no cruise control.

As for no speedo .... Iphone w/ a speedometer app =)

I didn't think a 93 even had a cable.

Or is that just 95-97?

my 93 HDJ80 has electric speedometer. check wiring and plugs near the rear output on the transfer case.
