Just had my main man Landtank install his redesigned MAF sensor on my 80.
Took about 10 short minutes.
I'm running Revo 285's, a 2' OME lift, and the motor is stock.
I see a slight difference when I step on it. But I only put a few miles on.:D

PS- new avatar..... Coooool! Thanks to "K"....

I am, I think it is awesome!

How many miles do you have on the rig after install? Also, are you running a stock
rig?

Might wanna look at his sig (and username), I don't think he's stock... ;) :)

Shot a quick pic before the install. OEM MAF is on the left.

It's waiting for me to put the head back on once I get it back from the machine shop. I'm installing a bung for my WB O2 as well and collect A/F data as well.

gotta link to where we can get them? cost?

LandTank ( Rick) has a company make them for him. his design too.
Search and PM him.

I'm curious if this has helped those with the intermittent idle-stumble or the off idle pinging.

OK...what is the mod? The vanes are taken out of the OEM and that does what..increase acceleration? I'm confused.

Airlaird,

Landtank engineered a new housing to bolt into the landcruiser which utilizes a newer, more accurate, and less expensive MAF sensor which is (as far as I know) plug and play into the LC. The only thing that needs to be changed is a vacuum line on the fuel rail which is plugged (the newer sensor has enough range to cover the idle speed airflow, which was circumvented in the old sensor via lowering the pressure on the fuel rail at idle)

Nice Job! As far as the stumble goes I think everyone that had it now doesn't.

Like most of my stuff I order them in batches with some of them pre paid. There ias another batch coming in and they are all sold. The last batch needed a little rework so I haven't posted on availability until I get a batch in that are perfect out of the box. This batch should be that so I'll post info afterwards.

 Nice. I'm hoping my cruiser gets fixed up alright by the end of the week, and once I get paid for the summer I'll have a little cash to do this conversion. The lopey stumble at idle is killing me, and I'd love to see if it helps at all with the ever-nagging off idle pinging.

The "buy one" was toward the people who have not bought one yet. Hope you enjoy yours.

Oh. Sorry Cattledog. I just had the chance to put some miles on it. Seems like there is less lag when you hit the power button and step into it. Runs a little nicer too.
