Thanks everyone - Appreciate the kind words!

Again - I know it's not a real Toyota FJ40,... Having restated that - below are some pics from the beginning to present:

Went w/the V8 5.3L 350hp/350trq:

The body color is powder coated a martini olive green (custom color I chose). The roof & headlight bezel will both be vintage white. All other trim (& everything else) will be black:

The Garmin unit is a GPSMAP 640 Marine Chartplotter. It will be integrated into the HAM radio, so as to enable APRS.

The HAM radio is a Kenwood TM-D710A. This is just the face plate - The unit is mounted under the seat, but off the floor.

Extinguisher - It's mounted on the transmission tunnel, forward of the gear shifters, under the dash & out of the way:

You can see the ceramic coated exhaust.

Installed extinguisher & brake controller (had them wire it for a trailer - I'm considering getting an AT Teardrop)

Cradle & speaker for Garmin chart-plotter,... plus switches for front & rear aux lights:

iPad mount: Will be using an iPad as a carputer,... mainly for long distance trips

Interior headliner is an ultrasuede, similar in color to the exterior. Is easy to clean & maintain. Also, dark polarized sun visors:

Still to do - mount roof-rack,... sliders,... side mirrors,.... skid plate,... & tint windows.

It's an ultra-suede.

Doesn't translate well in pics,... but it's close in color to the exterior.

Stain resistant & easy to clean.

Just got an email back from Jonathan - Says it does have a defroster.

He didn't give any details, but next time I talk with him on the phone, I'll get some & follow-up.

The black plate over the bottom of the windshield is the deflector.

That's what I thought but it's above the hinge. How does the duct get past the hinge to deliver the air?

It's CnC'd out of aluminum,.... then powder coated.

The glove box doors are the same (CnC'd aluminum & powder coated). Below's a pic where the owner decided not to powder coat them (gauge housing, gb door & passenger handle), & left them in the raw metal:

I like it with the white. Considered going the same route,... but decided to go all black w/ the trim.
