10th Annual Coal Mine Cruiser Classic, Rausch Creek PA, July 8-10 2010

Gotham City Land Cruisers is pleased to announce
the Coal Mine Cruiser Classic 2010 Edition.
This premier TLCA sanctioned off-road event will be held at
Rausch Creek Off-Road park in Pennsylvania
and is a family-friendly event open to all off-road enthusiasts.

Check out the Announcement for all details HERE.

Land Cruiser World Traveller to Present at CMCC2010

New York - April 12, 2010 - Al Podell, co-author of "Who Needs a Road:
The Story of the Longest and Last Motor Journey Around the World" will
deliver a presentation and slide show at the 2010 Coal Mine Cruiser
Classic detailing his 42,500-mile motor trip around the world.

In 1965-6, Podell, along with Harold Stephens, set the world's record
for the longest non-repetitive miles motor trip around the globe.
Primarily in a brand new, stock Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40, these two
intrepid travelers drove through 37 countries, a feat that would
likely be impossible today. Imagine circumnavigating the world
overland, driving through places like North Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan
and Iran. Not only was Podell's trip the longest, but it was also the
last motor expedition around the world!

Check the Gotham City Land Cruisers website for scheduling info and
for information on signing up for the Coal Mine Cruiser Classic 2010.

If you plan on going post up here and I'll keep the attendee list updated.

Count me in

interested as well as a couple other Canucks...
(read the point about 10-12 trucks per run)

is this a "hundred truck" event or a small cross section of dedicated Cruiserheads?

I have been attending since 2002 and don't think there have ever been 100 trucks registered. There is a good cross section of Cruiserheads and I am looking forward to this years event.

I will be there using the free entry I won at cmcc09's raffle.

Oh geez...are we gonna start lettin Canucks come in ??? My french c'est ne pas bon...see what I'm sayin  It sucks. Anywho, come on down...bring some Inniskillin ice wine...a few Cubans to puff on and have fun. And yes I'll be there if my parole officer, warden, attorney, and the Gov. Rendall makes the necessary call to get my day in the chair commuted...at least till after the event :grinpimp:

Thinking about attending.

Hey,

I live in PA and Rausch is not too far. I found out about this super cool event from a local cruiser head and am really excited that there are cool events going on close by. I have a few cruisers non of which run/and or are legally driveable right now. I am pretty new to cruisers and working on trucks in general as well as the off road driving scene.

Would it be cool to show up in a 2wd drive Tacoma to camp and maybe cruise around on the bike to mingle with you hard core cruiser heads and maybe get some education and lend a hand with some spotting and whatnot?

Cheers.

ANDY
