What color scheme did you guys go with for your 80's? Any accent colors?

Currently I have the 40th Anni. Sage color contrasted with black. I would like to see other color combinations on the 80 that other people have. If you had to pick a color your lug nuts, brake calipers, coils, shocks, and dust boots, what would it be?

I also plan on rhino lining the front/rear bumpers and the fender flares.

Just the factory blue. Limited Edition factory blue mind you. Everyone that see's it comments on it. I am thinking of going gunmetal grey on the wheels though.

Great looking 80, I like the side marker mod.

For me it's black and tan.

Thanks, I got bored with the plain or the all black look so I put them together. I love that tan color!

Wow, thats like the blue that would be on a G-class benz! Looks good!

1994 - A limited edition Land Cruiser Blue Marlin FZJ80R was introduced into the Australian market. They have 4.5 L straight 6 petrol motors with double overhead cams, automatic or manual transmission and 158 kW (215 PS; 212 hp) at 4600 rpm. The car is blue from the Blue Marlin fish and they have the Blue Marlin logo throughout the car. Some of the features that the Blue Marlin included were altimeters, power windows, disk brakes, leather gear knob and steering wheel, central locking, leather trim, chrome handles and sidesteps, 16" alloy wheels, limited slip diff, ABS (antilock brakes), power steering, CD and cassette players, flares and a limited edition bull bar. Only 500 were made.

Black and tan, I'll play...

Here's our Black and tan with a classic white top at the Toyota Jamboree in Gilmer TX this last weekend. Had to take the M416 for fun.

Mine's not a blue marlin. They were released in 94 as you state & is a lighter blue. Mine is a Winter Edition released in 96. The two colours are very, very different.

What color code are you because I don't see it on the chart? They don't even have that edition on Wikipedia.

My rig is different textures of black with the tan interior. Not that that is my favorite color, but I got a good deal on the rig for initial purchace. Bumpers and sliders are black, grille is blacked out, and I did the "anti-glare" deal on the hood. The only exterior colors are the wheels and fairlead. Kinda Darth Vader style in hindsite :meh:.I gave up trying to keep it looking clean and nice. I really wanted a Emerald or the what is it moonunit/moonshadow/moonglow blue, or possibly that rarely seen dark blue. Apparently I am wrong on the name of the colors after the chart above. Slate, or Nightshadow blue would have been keen!

Mine has West Coast Pinstriping. Ok, I added that. I think mine is dark blue/slate?

And is that a chain attached to the front of the hummer? Is that how you plan on recovering it?:flipoff2:
