no clamps needed............it should just screw on, like the original.

Looks to be the dash overlay, if so clamps work well, if new dash... where's the source? BTW, Pigs always like to look pretty, even if only on the inside;). Karma your way

If that's the same dash cover that I have, It'll fit so well you don't even need the glue.

I thought that was a SOR replacement dash............is it one of those caps?

Howdy! I did one of those over 10 years ago. I had to trim down the cracks in the original dash. It fit so well I really did not need the glue, but I did use it anyway. The cap is starting to age now, after sitting out in the desert sun for all these years. John

Got one of those last year; it fit so good that I didn't glue it down....which I regretted after a couple of weeks of 100 degree temps in august. It warped very badly. I was able to glue it down and get most of the wrinkles out, but I don't think I would have had near as much trouble if I had just glued it down in the first place...

yep, glued mine down and had to use about 20 or more c-clamps with padding to keep it in place; agree, it is a nice fit but my original was such a POS with warping + major cracks that needed the clamps to hold it firmly in place.......biggest problem areas to hold in place as I can recall was the undersurface above the tailgate and heater control levers along with the sides; hard to get a c-clamp in those areas;

Inge; you did a lot better job than I did:clap: at the underside of the cover over the rear heater and tailgate control lever; Ihad a devil of a time trying to keep the cover firmely against the old crappy pad............and words of wisdom?; after looking at yours am tempted to redo mine:frown:
