Lil' John,

I'm using a 98 Taco booster with 4 mounting holes. I needed to make a spacer so I could get the clutch bolts in and not hit the firewall lip. Don't know if it would be enough with the GM master.

Here's some pictures, the top lip is still in primer and I thought it might hit the booster. The spacer allowed some room to start the clutch master bolt, also.

Yes, 4 bolts to the master.

i RUN 4RUNNER BOOSTERS IN BOTH RIGS

I use a 84 4runner booster, it's like 9" diameter single diaphragm, with a GM master cyl.

In my old mini truck crawler I had a dual diaphragm booster from a 86-87 Turbo mini truck...that worked awesome.

Are you going to have enough vacuum on the turbo engine to run a vacuum booster?

Shouldnt be an issue. The boosters themselves typically hold enough air for a few braking cycles. As long as hes not heel toeing it too much (LOL) he'll be just fine. However if the issue does arise, he can just add a small vacuum reservoir with a check valve in line and that should solve any issues.
