Thats why i have driven LCs for 35 years. Trips from the arctic to deep in the south. I also love the fact that the LC is pretty invisible as we have had zero issues in some deeply troubled countries.
This invisibility quotient is something you don't hear about much but on many occasions, I have really appreciated. You don't even have to be in a different country to notice how discreetly passing by rather than being the object of everyone's attention is a real asset. I had several of these moments in the hills and valleys of coal country recently. I would not have felt safe in a vehicle easily identified as a nearly six-figure investment. For the country club set this will be a turn off but if you really get out in the back of beyond it can be a difference maker IMO.
