Context - Darwin is the capital of the Northern Territory, and renowned as a bit of a frontier town here in Oz.
Way back in 1983, a bunch of blokes, most likely having had too much beer and with too much time, decided to modify an old 'cruiser and attempt the world's longest drive underwater.
Read here on how they did it, and that record has stood for 40 years or so.
Well - with beer etc affecting their thinking, it's happening again!
