Is that one belt running the whole shebang, and a bungee cord battery hold down?

i'm not the best at getting car carbs in tune. On a small engine i can tune them to perfection.
Once you get to the point you want someone to do it and do it right the first time there is a guy that works with me that has been doing carbs for the past 40 years.
He also does AC!
Much cheaper than most shops as well, i'll check with him but i'm pretty sure i can get him to give UC discounts. Not sure of how much, just depends on what the job needs.
I need to get this solved once and for all. I don't think there is anything wrong with the motor. Talk to your guy and get back with me. I have a small once a week side job this summer that i can make a little extra cruiser $$ on. I want to get a trailer so i can haul my mower but the thing needs to run 1st. Then i got to put a ball on my bumper.
I've seen a lot worse 2f motors run a lot better. It will all eventually come together. I'd love to come help you right now but I'm in the middle of a bath install as well as a friend of mine has roped me into doing a header swap and lift on a bronco for him for the next 2 weeks.
You really need a HAMOM. You might actually have Chuck beat on that setup. Most likely the carb needs to be rebuilt. It's not terribly hard. I'm still trying to figure out how you managed to swap the locations of the alt and A/C.
If it's spewing out the bowl vent holes that means your float is stuck. Do you have a fuel filter on the fuel line?
