I’m trying to solve a “no CEL, cranks, no start“ issue, and while tracking down grounds found two dangling connectors on the wall of the driver’s side panel under the fuse box. The one with the yellow circle is a two-wire connector with black and red wires. The one with the red circle is a 6 wire connector with 5 wires. Anyone know what these are for?? I can’t find any mates! Any help is much appreciated.

You have a FJ62. Follow the FSM for diagnostic tests.

FJ60 has this:

The connector you circled in red is plugged into a box below the emissions computer on the FJ60.

FJ62 has this:

The connector is left hanging on the FJ62.

Clear as Mud.
I searched both the FSM emissions manual as well as the body electrical manual and couldn’t find definitive answers.

The other connector is a mystery to me, unless it is for the door courtesy light switch.

Adding this picture to clarify that connector on the 60 is to a ‘relay cleaner control’ which I believe is for the headlights. The 62 does not have this feature (or is it a bug?).

I hope you have figured out the CEL / no start issue.

THANK YOU!

signs beginning to point towards ECU. Trying to FIND and to check all the grounds.
