Windshield Frame

Scored this pretty clean windshield frame locally. Unfortunately the seller got it in a truck purchase and has no idea where it came from. I thought it was a 25 frame since it has no defroster vents, but it's set up for electric wipers.

I didn't think 25's had that front vent? Now you have to get an early 40 to go with it.

I think the defrost vents started around the 63 model. My 61 FJ40 didn't have them but the early 63 does. I don't think Sean's 62 has them either. It's a plus if you think about it, you use the TNK wipers instead of the vacuum wipers. I only plan on using the vacuum wiper on one of mine. That reminds me I need to find a box and mail some vacuum wipers to north Cal.

Neat little bit of trivia. So the frame is off a '61 to early '62 FJ40. My 1962 had defroster ducts. Mystery solved, thanks guys!

Oh and yeah, it's a big plus, basically the same thing as the 25 but with electric wipers!
