I posted a thread about it getting blown off at a Sheetz Car Wash.
While awaiting a resolution or until I find a replacement Wind Deflector I like ... I removed the brackets.
Now I have four 10mm screw holes to cover while in the interim.
I'm thinking about painting the 10mm bolts black and buff out the paint where the brackets were.
Also wondering where I can obtain black plastic caps that I can cover the bolt heads.
I think my LX470 looks pretty decent without the Wind Deflector in the interim.
The OEM Wind Deflector {Part No. PT38-60000) is no longer available.
You guys know of an aftermarket Wind Deflector that actually uses the mounting holes and looks OEM?
But the Million Dollar question is does the Wind Deflector provide any useful purpose other than looks?

added black-out screws and threw out damaged deflector. I thought it would keep dust of rear end of vehicle when on dirt, but who cares. I have a cheapo HF hand broom to brush off window.

Its function is to direct wind down across the rear window. Next dusty trail run compare your rear hatch to another 100 with the wind deflector, you'll see yours has more dirt on it.

Sheeez ... was riding around today and noted a black Land Cruiser with missing Wind Deflector and just the brackets.
Never paid much attention until now.
Making me think that loosing Wind Deflectors on 100s is a common issue.

Painted the bolts. Looking much better.
Have to look into using some lights.
