Will OEM wheels that came off a 1970 40 work on a 78 with front disc brakes?

I did a mud search, but couldn't find the info. I then asked AI, and it said that some wheels wouldn't work with the front disc brakes. AI has given me plenty of wrong info, so thought I should post here. I don't know much about wheels, been focused on other parts. Will OEM wheels that came off a 1970 40 work on a 78 that has front disc brakes? Anything/parts I need to make them work? Thanks guys.

You need 9/73 and newer rims that are welded… but… people do put welded rims on older trucks … so you should check and see if they have rivits or they are welded rims… rivits no work … welded do work
