Look at this one, for $10,000 more you get a lot Log into Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/372742678129663/?ref=search&referral_code=marketplace_search&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Ab2491521-1c48-4a31-8997-a805f8557290

1974 North American FJ40 Rebuilt F.5 engine with 24k miles. Power steering, JTOfour wheel disk, Holley Sniper 2300 EFI, New BFG AT, Master craft Baja RS seats. I have the hard top and doors, hard top is the later style with ambulance doors. Not painted but have most of the seals and parts require to restore. Runs very well and get good gas mileage with EFI but body’s not perfect. And front seals on transmission/ tansfer need replaced I have parts. I’m selling because I have a back injury and can’t enjoy driving it any more.

Doesn’t look like too much rust (from those poor pics). And as he says, 79+ are the most desirable…..

Could be if the price is right! No room though and I sorta like being married, so…
You're a glutton for punishment buying a 40 that requires smog inspection in CA.

Meh. I found my little slice of paradise and stay pretty insulated from the BS. I did buy two early 40's so I didn't have to hassle with smog on my late model 40's though.

(not mine)

I bought this with the intention to fix up but have not had the time and my wife wants it gone, I picked it up in Oregon from a guy that had little information about it, I does run but not able to drive, looks to have the original motor, have 2 four speed transmissions and the transfer case, appears to have ARB diffs front and rear not sure what gears ratio, 16” rims with 35” tires that are in great condition, it has a bunch of extra parts that go with it, it’s wheel base has been stretched to roughly 100”. If your looking for a fixer upper to build a crawler or off roader this is a good place to start. No scammers and I don’t need help to sale.

1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Jeep Barn Find Solid Project Runs Drives - $8,900 (Saint Thomas)

Solid running project. Nice patina, needs washed. Not positive of actual mileage as older Vins seem pretty much unsearchable - there is very little wear on the front drivers seat and foot pedals so I'd assume under 150k. Will need trailered home. Sat for a while without air cleaner from previous owner. I put on an air cleaner from a later fj60 but it needs modified. Truck easily starts but does run a little rough - granted I've only started it for short durations and it might settle out once warmed up. Has aftermarket electronic ignition. Clutch and 4 spd transmission work perfectly. Brakes work, including the parking brake. Previous owner replaced the fuse box with a newer style: headlights work, tailights still need wired up yet. License plate mount needs both sockets and covers. Has some rust issues as pictured and as can be expected. Rear quarters were replaced and rear frame repaired previously. Drivers floor pan needs a patch panel. All other rust spots look to be easily repaired without requiring patch panels, including door bottoms. Seats look good as is, all glass is good, front window regulators and locks work. Door weatherseals will obviously need replaced. Tires have seen very little use, truck will need shocks. Includes a Reese tow bar that mounts to the front bumper. Overall a solid truck to use offroad as is, turn into a daily driver, or restore completely. Only selling as I have several other vintage land cruisers and Fj40 values are ever increasing. I also have numerous 40 and 60 series parts including doors, hardtops, windows, hoods, axles, drive shafts, engines, 4 spd trannys, t-cases, etc. No scams or time wasters please.
