If you want to avoid Country Thunder in Florence y'all should drive north on 77 to 177. Google shows 2 minutes difference.

If you go the 77-177 route you will see a nice hole in the ground.View attachment 1949208
great idea, you'll miss the row of 5th wheel trailers that you'll be waiting behind!

I think it will take us 2 hours to get to Superior (See map below). That means we need to leave Beyond Bread at Oracle/Ina at 6:30 at the latest assuming no issues along the way. Lets get a final count of who is caravaning.

Should we meet a little bit earlier?

I'll be there too!

6:00 AM at the Beyond Bread there on the corner sounds doable.

May grab something and catch up to the caravan depending
I will be camping near Superior friday night if you want to avoid the long drive saturday.

Bring a jacket and something warm. with the high in superior (2888 elevation) at 72*, we will be in some mountain passes 5-6K where it might be in the 50's. Something chilly before summer hits :)

CB and Ham if you got it! also, pack a lunch for the CSC lunch break ~

Looking forward to it!

Country Thunder traffic started early!

Hiway 79 is completely stopped 9 miles north of Florence today.

Saw pictures of miles of 5th wheel traffic backed up as far as the eye could see. The alternate route is the clear choice lol

Unfortunately I do not think I'll be making it.. work kicked my ass this week and I need some time to recoup. Hope you guys have a good time. Wish I was able to make it.

Hey guys! Tomorrow is the day! :bounce:

Just so we can make sure everyone is at the meeting point tomorrow, who is planning on meeting up at the Beyond Bread at Oracle & Ina at 6 AM?

@Toyota4Low
@ollanik
@mtn biker
@drenmaster
@cruzer971

Anybody else?
Gonna most likely be there but may catch up. Leaving sahirita around 530 stopping for gas at qt off irvington and grabbing food. Will be two pickups.

My wife got really sick and I need to take the kids places tomorrow for her. So I will not be attending unless she makes a miraculous recovery. But I really want a sticker, so if someone from from down here wants to drive my 40 😉.

Hey I’ll take your 40 😉

I know that the trail is being announced at the meet up. But about how long is it going to be time wise. I have tickets for the roadrunners hockey game and need to be home by 6.

Guessing 5hours?
