over the last year or two several knights expressed interest in these and now can't remember who.

I was one who was looking for those but I have since found and installed them!

I could do with a '40 series shaft and winch head junction for the shear pin.
 
so since cruiser guy found what he was looking for, i'm guessing those are the longer front frame pieces for a cruiser with a winch. if so, are they for sale now:D

Yes. those are the winch extensions for the '55 as well as the '55 PTO shaft, with the hard to find pillow block support, (which is different from a '40/45). I have a spare '55 shaft that I would trade for a '40/45 shaft. If no one want's it I'll probably "cannabalize" it for my '45LV.

Marshall, is it just frame extensions you're after or also the PTO shaft? I hope to see Paul in Panama this spring and I could ask him to copy my frame extensions if Paul in Montana is not selling.
