All in a days work..Island life
Post storm clean up. We lost an 80’ oak. It caused all kinds of damage. Had a hard time cutting through the trunk with my big chainsaw. Had to use the 40 to do the heavy lifting of finally breaking the trunk and dragging the pieces to the edge of the yard. Lots of work and quite the show for the kids. They’re all really impressed with the 40.

A couple of 40 radiators and a jerry can took the worst of it. An excavator came by and moved the ball. My daughter “we need one of those things dad!”

What’s the story on that hitch reciever?
Pulling big logs with the 40 broke the 1/2" steel plate. 
Alaska in Hawaii! I like it. Used to be an immediate pull over on the Big Island for sporting out of state plates.

@Lifelong40Fan, we lost a few this spring as well and we had a portable saw mill come out. Highly worthwhile and recommend as that looks to be a good length there. Or if you don't wanna deal with 'em, let me know!
@Zjohnsonua thanks for the note. I called several places trying to find someone with interest and/or a portable mill and couldn't find anyone around here. If you know of someone willing to come to Jackson, TN for these logs, I'd be interested in talking to them. Otherwise, I plan to cut them up on the fall and work on splitting them for firewood.
Use mine nearly daily especially during baseball season. Gotta keep them new infields top notch....
