I probably will stick with the flares and rocker for now since I'm going to have sliders.

For the Line-X, my local dealer did my roof for $200 and quoted me $350 each side including lower door. That's a lot!

No sweat. I hear you on the Line-X price. My local guy said the same thing. It is a bunch more work (takes more time) for the vendor when it comes to applying the Line-X around the door jams, just more labor intensive than a flat surface

Were you driving down Wolfe Road in Cupertino yesterday afternoon? I saw one of you guys with the white cruiser/black flares and it looked a lot like yours with the red handled axe or shovel on rack.

Flares, rockers and mirrors done with Duplicolor bedliner from Autozone. Its held up well. I tape off once a year put another coat on two on the flares to keep them looking good.

Looks really good. That is exactly what I've planned on doing.

I got to spend last weekend out wheeling with SIN829 in Japan! Now I want a diesel in my 80!

Unfortunately I couldn't bring my 80 to Japan with me, it's back home in WA!
