Ha! I figured someone would comment about that. Normally I would agree with you, but when winter hit -7 degrees and my commute was only 4 miles at 35mph one way, the coolant never heated up enough to work the heater. I tried blocking the radiator and intercooler, and that did help, but it still never produced enough heat. The best thing I did was to install a block heater with a timer late in the winter. I had it kick on about 2 hours before I wanted to leave. Worked great getting to work, not so much commuting home.
