I did mine the original red and white- absolutely love it - because it is the original color!! My dad painted her many colors - I think even with house paint at one point!! He loved it when kmart had spray paint on sale! All the "other colors" are gone and she looks beautiful - and not lumpy anymore!

Orange and white
All white doesn't look cool, had one and didn't like it. Only ever saw the lighter blue color stock like Todd Slater's 55. I've owned green and white, red and white, blue and white, and orange and white original colored trucks. actually have a blue and white one coming in early November. Here's my piggy, orange and white, yeah, baby!!!!
My truck was originally blue and white, and the orange isn't a factory match. It's from 2 cases of 99 cent spray bombs I bought years ago. Rustoleum has a shade very close to what I picked. Actually the roof is rustoleum brush painted and is brighter than the sides. Gary S

I like the green it is like iconic to the pigs, but the red it also perfect, even better covered with mud

Hey guys... great opinions and advice here. I think if I was painting this for myself, I might go with the Orange and white. Nothing like a creamsicle on a hot day.
But I think the best advice is to go with what the original color was... and that color is (drum roll....)...
blue and white. But... before that, I'm going to try to sell it as is. Even if it means dropping the price significantly.

Hopefully, thanks to Pablo Cruise, I may have learned how to post pictures here. If it works, this is my 71, bought new in Nov 1970 by my brother. Dad had it many years and painted in in various colors. I have just had some minor body fixing and new paint to protect her for another 30 years. Original red and white.

Only at $700 right now..Mine is a '74 that's Pueblo Brown and Cygnus White. I believe those were stock Toyota colors in '74
