Two likes on the above donut picture.

You guys are all gay.

5 years to the day that we all rode out to eat at the Blue Rooster on a Friday. I'm trying to remember who all came.

@dnp was here. Who else?

I had a flamethrower. It is such an amazingly awesome burger. If this burger doesn't make your top 5 list then you don't know s*** about a burger. Lol

Somebody eat at the Bulldog Burger Factory in Starkville and report back. I've heard good things from non-foodies. Swing thru enemy territory Nolen! It's in the old Bulldog Deli location on University Dr. I'm gonna try it the next time I am there but don't know when that will be.

Ill send my 21 year old MSU-Junior son by there. It will be just like I ate the burger, since I'm probably paying for it.

I'm not a fan of the Blue Rooster, but I guess because I live near there. The 'swamp burger" at Signa's in Ridgeland is my new favorite. Plus, they have fried pickled-okra which is almost a sexual experience in itself....

I'll put it on the list. Actually, it was a Texaco station long before it was a deli - one with 2 real service bays for mechanic'ing - guy who ran it de-smogged my '74 C10, put dual exhausts on it and sent me to the local NAPA to pick up more robust shocks after I came back from a logging road run with one frt one completely missing and the other dangling first week I had the truck "break these, take them the pieces left over and they'll hand you new ones". The mini-market beside that place eventually became Curry's w/ excellent fresh squeezed fruit drinks we'd pile in for during the summer working on campus. Good times.

Once a month I make a run thru Mississippi for work and today was that day. My goto place to eat is Dobi's Ragin Cajun in Meridian.
