My local hardware store carries these. They are pretty sweet and about $200 less than a BGE or KJ of the same size.

Picking this up Sat in Memphis.....Kamato Joe road show at Costco. Can't wait to have a real grille/smoker again.
To good of price to pass up plus Costco's crazy return/warranty

Best part about them is the more you cook on them the better they get. The ceramic gets "seasoned" and the flavors just continue to develop.

I need to post a pick of ours. It was made long before they were called green egg cookers. My father in law actually brought two if them home from the Philippines way back in the early 70's and there they are known as "hibachi pots". He gave a smaller one to us when we got married back in 1980 but it eventually succumbed to the Louisiana wet weather. We still use his larger one to this day. :)

If you don't mind me asking, How much was it? Did they just have the one size? 18", right? Are they still selling them or was it just for the weekend?

I remember it being discussed before, but what was the consensus on what size to get?

Classic is 18" same as BGE large.

They had a road show at Costco for 10 days it was over last night.

$750 came with stand and divide and concur system. Other price I could find was $969 to my door in Hot Springs. The kicker was a grill cover...starter cubes and charcoal was 2 22lb bags for $30. I bought 3 bundles of 44lbs.

G TOWN hardware has them don't know price though.

Anybody been to Seafood R'evolution in Renaissance?

Damn! I need to get back down there. Maybe Sat night!

Julie and I slipped into Local 463 last night. I have only been there 2-3 times in the 2+ years since Lou left. I was not impressed.

Last night it was money. Spot on Walker's grade food. They got a winner back there cooking now.

Crab claws, scallops, and #1 tuna. All perfect.
