Where does this ground strap go?

So as I search for electrical gremlins I found this ground strap loose. Where is it supposed to attach?

Should attach to the side of the cylinder head

I guessed that and bolted it down. I had some blown fuses so my blinkers and stop lights weren't working. I swapped some fuses around and had blinkers for about half of my drive home until they blew again. I have a short or bad ground somewhere in the turn signal system.

What's up with your weird heater hose layout, are you bypassing the rear heat feed line that sits behind the head and instead running from the heater valve?

I moved both Tees to the right side so I can bend new stainless tubes to go to the rear heater. I started with 1/2", but want to find or make a bender for 9/16 or 5/8". I have the tube available at work.

It's currently bypassed until I can figure out a bender.
