Heyall,

I live in Phoenix. Where are people going to get good solid reliable reasonably priced mechanical work done on their FJ80s? I've got a mounting list of stuff I want/need done to keep her up to snuff.

PM any thoughts!

Thanks!

You have two options for LC work in the PHX area who have LC experience/exclusively work on LCs.

Richard Dillard: 4803992310

Scott Higgins @ Higgys: www.Higgys.com

“Reasonable” and Land Cruiser don’t necessarily go hand in hand. These trucks are 30+ years old and are considered classics/antiques. Their upkeep and maintenance reflects this.

Shop rates in the PHX area generally run $150-200 per hour no matter where you go.

The most reasonably priced place is your own garage doing the work yourself. If you're going to take your LC out in the dirt its best to know how it works and how to fix it yourself.
I swear after I do any fix or repair I think about if I had to do the same job on the side of the road how it would go.

A decent metric socket set and some JIS screwdrivers will do a majority of the work.
