First of of all. I'd like to say hi to all of you piggy lovers. I'm interested in purchasing a 69. Exterior body is fair. Paint is poor. I will hopefully be doing a full off body restoration. It will need drivers floorboard. Will need driveshaft. This vehicle was running but it got towed . It currently sits like this for the past 6 months. I'd hate for it to go to the crusher.

I wouldn't pay much more than 1k unless it ran, drove, and had a nice interior.

Good luck,
Dan

from what I can see, it looks a lot better than any I have seen in Alabama ........where is it located?, agree it would be a pity for it to go to the crushers.............more pix please!

I love that grill. I wish mine had those lights below the headlamps.

If you love it, then it is worth every penny. I've had good, reliable vehicles that I have hated, and ones that ran poorly and needed work that I loved. I kept them, made them into what I wanted, even though they weren't the best rig ever.

What are they asking for it?

here are more pics. The only body damage it has is in the driver's side fender. Rear bumper is a little dinged. The only rust issue that worries me is where the rack on the roof is. You can actually see in the pics. Althoug it looks like nothing major.

Well, I've got 4,

only 2 run and none in good shape.

I can honestly say that the metal used in the body of my 69 is the best. It has almost no rust through and even where I scratched the paint to metal minimal rust forms. Not sure why.

It was made in early 69 I think and has the weird front turn signals. I plan to do a body off restoration on my 69 beginnning this winter. Though you might be able to find a better looking pig. The one you are looking at might be a good choice .

the rack is worth it, look at the INTI's, if it is a good quality rack it would be half the asking price....have heard the same from others about the 69 being made of "better steel"?, is there any truth to that??have seen 79s rusted to oblivion but a 69 standing in a field for years in decent shape except for the floors roted uot because the rear window was left open for who knows how many years!

take a look at the 1969 on the "my new purchase " by 3_puppys thread a few days ago, it was left out in an open field for years with open windows and the body is reasonably intact.was thinking about purchasing it BUT the title is "fuzzy" and the owner of the land it is on cannot find the papers..........guess what I am trying to convey is that even sitting out in a field for a very long time the sheet metal has held up except the floor boards where the water pooled, making me think that there might be something to the suspicion that the 69 sheet metal was better quality??, would like to hear comments from other members with more experience than my very limited amount!
