The ones from toy outfitters are heavy duty and replac ethe factory mounts. The ons from rock tech mount over the existing mount and can be welded

Im gonna get the ruff stuff mounts and redline upper and lower control arms from sean.

Now just to get them welded and buy new rear shocks!
 
installed new speakers in the front doors

installed some new water hoses and changed out some vacuum hoses - which is when the nipple broke off the EGR valve :mad:

washed the old coolant bottle in the dishwasher :hillbilly:

Ruffstuff weld on link mounts ordered, Full set of upper and lower rear control arms from redline are ordered as well. Rear cats to be cut off and im researching rear springs and shocks extended travel w/resi to be ordered...

Daniel and I worked most of the morning yesterday doing the three power steering hoses, the oil dipstick tube, and a few other things on the Vdub. It's running well now. Just need the timing belt done and we'll be driving her around full time. One more week.
 
drained and cleaned the radiator and tended to some adjacent hoses
 
go wheeling - that'll mod your cruiser right there :hillbilly:

alternatively, put a cool sticker onto it :D
 
seriously, consider your intended use - no point in spending on anything else

and yeah, I haven't seen the 40, much less driven it, in, like, 6 weeks :eek: :crybaby:

I was cool. Probably around 30 at the coldest point of the night. But 70 degrees at 10,000 ft can be really warm if in the sun. Maybe it's time for you to come visit again!
