That's awesome Chris. Hodges showed me a picture of it while we were at the Jambo. Glad you can finally stop obsessing about the purchase and now you can start obsessing about the mods.

Me, too, and am I ever obsessing.

If its worth doing, it's worth doing right, right?

Need to rebuild the front axle?

Knew about the center caps, but the wheels were a little bit of a surprise. Not sure if I'll blast and coat (preferred) or put that towards new.

Opinions?

Damn Lee! That didn't take long.

I know. I lifted the first Fj after 1 month. I was in first 5 Rc 6 inch kits. This Fj will be better and a little more patient but not by much. Waiting on 3 people to buy sliders so this group buy falls through.

Pic of Fj with no side.

Got her put back together. Pics soon.

I put on some new hood and tailgate struts. Old ones weren't bad, you just had to help them up a little. These are like POW once you open the tailgate!

I'm letting her settle in, but I still may have to drop the coilovers more because of the longer/stiffer springs. It is driving GREAT!

Will see what I can do. What are you trying to accomplish, and how much do you want to spend.

I am going to buy what is best to my liking. I had a 6 inch RC lift on my last Fj and people say not to go that way. I loved the appearance of the 6 and all the times I took it mudding I had no problem. Now I plan on going trailing with you guys so everyone says 3. The thing is I am tired of reading this 3inch lift is only 2, and that one is 2.5. I want a solid three inch lift that is trail ready. I have been looking at OME, ToyTec, Icon, Sway.

The front is 3, the rear is 2-2.5. I would look at ICON, King, or Sway-a Way. Each rides a little different, but all are very high quality. I would buy once cry once, (after crying a couple of times myself......., and I can 't count how many times Delancy has cried :)) TRAB is looking at upgrading to the Sway-a-way from his Toytec. He was telling me that Metal Tech is having a sale. Wheelers Offroad also has good prices on Sway-a- Way. If you go ICON, TRDparts for you will get you a good deal, and I'm sure Wilson will take care of you if you PM him on the Blue Room
