Its unofficail, thats what the Shock tech calls it. They did a bunch of FJCruisers for the California Park Rangers, Utah Park Rangers and Ouray mountain Rescue that had a lot of weight, like bumpers, winches dual battery, armor etc. Its revalved for the extra weight with at 700 lb coil with an extra inch of length on the fronts. It hasn't been driven extensively on road, so I am kind of a guinea pig in that since.

I hope they got this right, man. I ran 700s on two different set ups, and it was miserable.

Yours may be slightly more obese than mine, so hopefully that, in conjunction with specific valving will minimize the wagon feel, but if it doesn't, don't buy into the bs they'll give you about the coils settling or softening.

My two cents. Hope ok.

I hear you. Hopefully they know what they are doing. Shipping aint cheap.

Swapping coils is a pita, too.

They know what they're doing, and I trust they've tested in house, too.

I ran 700 Eibach's on two different set ups and there was no coil compression possible. Lifted the drivers side off the ground with a forklift, and wouldn't compress to the bumps, which were lower than OEM by a 1/2". Looked like a solid axle with solid steel struts.

The deal is, when looking at the coil rating, it's based on a per inch calculation, so a similarly compressed 600 and 700 are for vast weight differences. If compressing the coil 2", a 600 is essentially maintaining 1200lbs of weight, where as a 700 compressed the same is 1400lbs.

The OEM FJC coil is 14x3xpounds. A 15.5x3x700 is a monster.

Doesn't sound like much difference, but it's a front axle weight difference of 400lbs. That's substantial, considering the weight bias on the FJC.

If I remember correctly, your loaded for bear, so I'm sure the additional weight will play a bigger role in compression.

I was concerned about all the added weight abd went 700s on the first Radflo set up, and I'd equate the ride quality to a Ford tractor. When I went LT, Glenn suggested the 700 (at least that's what he sent me) and it sucked, so swapped to a 600 and have no issues with sagging, and actually have usable wheel travel again.

Hope this helps?

Thanks Chris, All of your posts have been helpfull.

700lb EIbachs are what they used. Also they are an inch longer than their normal coils.

It's time for another thank you post. Bart gets it again, along with his friend Jess. We got the bumper and winch on last night, along with some in-bumper PIAAs. And it all works! :wrench:

Thanks again my friend.
