Thanks Kevin! Do you find they are too thick? I'm only using them to mount lights to my ARB rack. The top bar is 1" but the bottom one is 1.4" and I can find any mounts in that size. I'd rather keep the top of the rack flat without the mounts getting in the way.

Get 1.5 mounts and use rubber inner tube cut to fit as a gasket/spacer. Thee holes in the bracket are 1/4 20

Those are the cheapest billet clamps I could find.

Yeah, that sounds like a better plan. Thanks!

I got 1 inchers, because my roof rack has 1 inch tube.

I'm trying to figure out my mount for the truck..,

Thanks. Fourteks clamps are 55.00 per pair, but they do have more mounting versatility. These are about 20.00 bucks a pair. They come polished, but I took a scotchbrite pad to them to get a satin finish.

I've found that mounting on the bottom rail is preferable as the top tail offers protection.

maybe I am not getting it, but how are you going to take that thing off quick in an emergency ?

I am hoping the fire would be next to my fire extinguisher!!

The brackets are attached to a billet quick release fire extinguisher bracket help by a pull pion.

Leave my jetboil outta this!!!

Accomplished a lot today, got my radio and speakers wired, cb and mounts welded on and wired up. Both HID lights wired and ran to the switch block that now has 7 empty slots. Pulled all the heater cores and stuff. Re route coolant lines, and buttoned up all the wiring.

Nice Erick. I guess since you didn't call me about the wiring you found some other sucker to help you with it.

Haha... well sorta. I actually did it all my myself, minus the welding... My buddy Steven did that.

I still need side lights, some interior lights, and reverse lights. Also need to strip the headliner and add a toolbox, hilft, and fire extinguisher.

If anyone sees a good deal on lug nuts I need some.
