Looks good Eric. How will you be weatherproofing the gap between the two buildings?
well one of these days I'll get the clutch fixed. Now I have another issue and I'm having trouble pinpointing it. I go out every few days and start it up, but lately it hasn't been wanting to run. It'll crank over no problem, chug a little and die, giving gas doesn't help. I check the carb, and its getting fuel. I'm wondering if its a timing issue again. I can't tell that anything has moved on the dizzy. It just doesn't want to stay running. If it does run, it runs smooth for a few minutes and then dies. So...is it not getting fuel, or the timing off, vacuum leak maybe somewhere? Just shooting for ideas at this point. Maybe I'm missing something.
Must be forgetting steps... The only bearing or bushing that comes to mind is the pilot bushing. May have to use the grease hydraulic route. Clean and prep the holes for the pressure plate to flywheel. I used new bolts just out of "feel good". What other bearings did you get? Doing the fly wheel to? Resurface?
I generally pull the drivetrain as an assembly, was easier to align verything and bolt everything together.
thanks Bret. I will keep y'all posted on how things go and and leave a few tips for Kyle as it looks like he will doing the same thing soon.It has been awhile, the throwout should be able to be done with a couple old sockets, hammer, and a vise. Press does make it quicker/easier though. If you haven't already ordered a flywheel then just plan on resurfacing. Similar to when you do brake/rotors. Assuming you got a new friction disc.
