What to use for windshield weatherstrip sealant?

I could make a case for sealant on the 65-74 era windshield W/S that doesn't have factory formed corners. Just installed one of these "seal lock" style on my 71. I suppose sealant would keep the puckers down.
The later windshield W/S has molded corners and fits much better and probably doesn't need goup.

FWIW, I finally just installed the Windshield sans any sealant since I couldn't find anything even with the dealer's parts guru looking...
Guess we'll see how it does. Was out in a rain storm about two weeks after assembly and it appears to not leak, so maybe we're good..
