Curious, what size tires are a good fit with the OME stock height springs? Thinking of going up a size or two from stock. Please post any pics if you have them.

Thanks guys!

Im running OME stock height with 285/75-16s. You could also look at 255/85-16, same overall diameter but narrower.

before my lift I was running 285-75-16 with no issues on old ass broken down stock springs and a set of worn out shocks

not the best pic, but on OME stock heavies in the front with MTR 315/75/16's

Here's mine when I had the 255s on with the stock height Springs. I loved it. But not I'm on 315s and not looking back.

Just remember that even if you do a 2" lift, unless you're changing the bump stops, the same size tire that will fit on there when it is at stock height will fit when it's lifted 2". Only the ride height changes, but the up-travel (compression) of the suspension will remain the same or might even be reduced (depending on the shocks used) and the turn radius will be the same.

Lots of people still think that a lift is required to fit bigger tires. The 285's on stock height looks perfect in my opinion, like the white one just above.

Currently running OME stock height springs with Arb front and 4x4 labs rear bumper. Starting to feel mushy and the rear is squatting a bit. What does Dobinson offer for 1.5-2" lift that can handle some armor and other added accessories?

Thanks in advance

I'll get some pics later but I run 285/75/16 (Bridgestone Revo II) on stock springs (97 model with original springs 296K miles).
