OME stock height springs with 255/85 Cooper ST Maxx (basically a skinny 33"). I gained about an inch over my stock LX springs that had 220K on them when I put the OME springs in.

OME stock height with 285/75-16. They should've done this tire size from the factory IMO

OME stock heights with spacer in the front. Tires are 285 Duratracs. Zero complaints...until I go higher and bigger, that is...

Currently running OME stock height springs with Arb front and 4x4 labs rear bumper. Starting to feel mushy and the rear is squatting a bit. What does Dobinson offer for 1.5-2" lift that can handle some armor and other added accessories?

Thanks in advance
You could say we have a couple of choices....

These are the front options.

These are the rear coils.

Variable rate (progressive) coils are definitely the way to go, and they're the same prices as the linear coils. We also have more options above 2" not shown here.

Great feedback / info guys - thank you!

Here is 33" tires with OME stock heights

out of curiosity, does anyone know the distance from the center of the hub to the fender edge (front and rear) on an OEM set up and an OME stock height set up?

Front - 21.25"
Rear - 20.5"

Referencing the vehicle in post #21 in this thread. That is a highly vehicle dependent measurement though... my LX has stock front bumper and ~ 200 lbs of bed/tools in the rear. Throw a winch and some armor on there and all the numbers change.

Thanks. For comparison, the 80 in post #9 is 21.5 front and back with no extra weight from tools bumpers, winches, etc.. The front has the 30mm Manafree spacer on it.

I'm running 305/70r16 KM2's on stock height dobinsons springs. Not sure if they will scrub while wheeling, hopefully I'll find that out next week.

I don't have specific measurements, but on my '96 LX450 I gained about 2" in front and 1.5" in the rear with the OME 861/862 vs stock springs with about 160k miles on them.

[Great looking cruiser. Does it rub at all wheeling? Getting ready to replace my suspension.

im sure it will, but im in WV and most of my "wheeling" is to and from the hunting sites, etc and towing my boat to the river on summer weekends so no extreme stuffing so far, I have the slee bumpstops I plan on cutting in half just for ins but so far so good, I used to run 305/70/16 an ddef no problems with those......

if I was crawling every weekend I would have probably went with a 2"+ lift, but my needs are not in that xtra height right now. it's bad enough for my 54 year old self to climb up in in without any more height on it

37s on stock coils fit.
So anything smaller will fit.
Hope this helps....
