What should I do for applying the clear coat to a base coat which already sits there overnight?

Hi, this is the first time I try to paint something, so it would be a dumb question.
I use duplicolor can spray my door trim panel with base coat yesterday (24hrs ago), and I plan to spray on the clear coat today, but I know I probably should not wait that long time to apply the clear coat after research yesterday night.

So what should I do before I spray the clear coat? Scuff the base coat a little and apply a light base coat again? or I am still fine to spray a clear coat to it directly?

(my 04 lc100 sits in a garage with no window and nobody accessed yesterday except me after the paint)

Thank you so much for any suggestion!

Don’t do anything. Just spray the clear. It’s duplicolor rattle can and Not real paint.

When in doubt read the tech sheets of the paint your using, or in this case, read the side of the can.
