I been a Shiba owner since 2001. Had many breeds growing up and leading up to getting a Shiba. I wanted an active small breed that is good in the snow too. Shiba fit that bill so I got one way back then. He went everywhere with me, even by land in my truck to Panama and back twice! He lived to the ripe old age of 18. His name was Shogun but we mostly just called him “Buddy”.
Here he is at 15yrs old, def and mostly blind but still happy to go fishing with me.
Here he was on our first trip to Panama, he camped on an island with me for over a week.
It took me sometime before I was ready to get another. Nineteen months ago I decided I was ready so got me another Shiba, his name is Rascal.
Today is the first day we haven’t been together since I got him. He is at the vet getting neutered!

This is our Saint Bernard "Fulton", he'll be 4 in Sept. I have never seen a dog that loves to play in snow as much as him.
He's about 130 lbs, mostly hair I think. He sure leaves enough of it around the house! He also loves to go for rides in the Cruiser, here he is on the custom bed platform I built for him.

I have had 4 Rotties and 2 Great danes. This is the first small pup I have had. Pip is a Norwich Terrier and he is a pretty cool little guy.
4 Golden's and an Irish Setter. My phone has SO MANY pics of the boys. Hard to find one with all of them in one pic.

Dale, poodle or do you mean doodle? Either way, nice looking dog. Have you seen Ollie before? He’s the brown labradoodle. The other picture is the granddaughters with all three of our herd.

Yesterday was "gotcha day" for our Newfie pup...
Newfies are the absolute best. Like all pups, they’re fluffy velociraptors for a while, but they’re so worth it—especially once they’re done growing at 18-24 months. We miss our Josephine Jellybean every day.
