I’ve been clearing off my shelves and don’t know where this goes. Any ideas?

Also, isn’t there a clamp to hold the rear heater lines in place? Does anybody have a photo or part number?

Does this help? From my project 79. I don't have a pic handy showing further aft and am unsure what's oem.

Yes this is helpful but my bolt hole is closer to the transfer case shifter. This is essentially what I’m looking for though. I removed the entire heating system 4+ years ago so somewhat hard to recall these details.

Brake line union cover on passenger side frame rail near battery. See item 7 in diagram. Just line it up to the existing bolt holes in frame and thread your m8x1.25 in.

Yep. That’s it. I guess I’ll have to change the color. I was thinking it was under the dash, but that’s not correct. Thanks a bunch! I’ve been staring at this for a few months.

There is also a guard for the heater hose's junction at the fire wall but that's not the one in question.

I agree with the one @mattressking posted. I stripped the brake lines from a wrecked 84 HJ47. Junction for the front brakes had one.
Correct. I just reinstalled the plate you showed but I think @mattressking is correct for the part in question.

This is after. There is a small bracket that holds the bare lines are where the insulation is missing on both lines closer to the gas tank in the pic on the previous post.

Maybe #7
I was looking on SOR and saw this but they’re out of stock. I also don’t want to pay $45 in shipping lol.

LOL… understood! But… SOR will send USPS priority mail for those small items, but you gotta jump through the hoops. It drops it down to about $11

It depends on how original you want your 40. Its just a piece of thin bent sheet metal. I can take a closer Pic.
