I’ve been clearing off my shelves and don’t know where this goes. Any ideas?

Yes this is helpful but my bolt hole is closer to the transfer case shifter. This is essentially what I’m looking for though. I removed the entire heating system 4+ years ago so somewhat hard to recall these details.Does this help? From my project 79. I don't have a pic handy showing further aft and am unsure what's oem.

Yep. That’s it. I guess I’ll have to change the color. I was thinking it was under the dash, but that’s not correct. Thanks a bunch! I’ve been staring at this for a few months.Brake line union cover on passenger side frame rail near battery. See item 7 in diagram. Just line it up to the existing bolt holes in frame and thread your m8x1.25 in.

Correct. I just reinstalled the plate you showed but I think @mattressking is correct for the part in question. There is also a guard for the heater hose's junction at the fire wall but that's not the one in question.

I agree with the one @mattressking posted. I stripped the brake lines from a wrecked 84 HJ47. Junction for the front brakes had one.
Yea I’m absolutely right, lol.Correct. I just reinstalled the plate you showed but I think @mattressking is correct for the part in question.
Thanks this is helpful. I’ll scrounge my parts shelves and see if I can locate it.
Nice looking rig! This is after. There is a small bracket that holds the bare lines are where the insulation is missing on both lines closer to the gas tank in the pic on the previous post.

The pic of the clamp is from my 01/72, p/n 90461-08199, which is the same one used on a '78. See inset a lower left microfiche pic showing *5 90461-08199 used until 01/79.Also, isn’t there a clamp to hold the rear heater lines in place? Does anybody have a photo or part number?
